Why we exist.

Eden Osteopathy was founded on a simple belief — that every body has an innate capacity to heal, and that the role of a practitioner is to find health, not just chase symptoms.

The name Eden speaks to that idea. A place where everything is in balance. Where all the systems of the body — nerve, artery, vein, and lymph — flow freely and work in harmony. That’s what we’re working toward in every treatment room, with every patient.

We practice classical Osteopathic Manual Therapy as taught through the principles of A.T. Still — a principles-based system that uses movement, physics, and natural law to deliver treatment that is precise, effective, and deeply grounded in osteopathic thinking.

Joe Tran, M.OMSc, graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) in 2026, completing one of the most rigorous osteopathic programs available in Canada. The CAO’s curriculum exceeds 4,200 hours of academic and clinical training — meeting the World Health Organization’s Type 1 standard, the international gold standard for osteopathic education. This includes over 1,500 hours of hands-on training and supervised clinical experience treating real patients.

Before osteopathy, Joe spent over a decade working as a Rehabilitation Assistant — trained across physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology at SAIT, graduating in 2012. That background built a deep understanding of the body and a genuine commitment to helping people recover and thrive.

Osteopathy found Joe in 2021, and it changed everything.

“When I first encountered osteopathy, it felt completely backwards to everything I knew. The way it asked me to look at the body — as a whole, interconnected system rather than a collection of parts — challenged every assumption I had. But as I progressed through my training, something shifted. Things started to click. And now, I truly cannot see the body any other way.”

That shift in perspective drives everything at Eden Osteopathy. The goal isn’t just to relieve your pain — it’s to find the health that already exists in your body and help you get the most out of it. To give you care you trust enough to tell your family and friends about.

Josée is an Osteopathic Manual Therapist and a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO) — a Type 1 osteopathic program involving a rigorous four-year course of study.

Before pursuing osteopathy, Josée trained and cared for showjumping horses, working alongside top equestrian athletes across Europe and North America — including the Japanese Olympic showjumping team. Working with Olympic-level athletes showed her just how central movement is to health.

It was in Europe that she was first introduced to osteopathy, and she was immediately drawn to its holistic, problem-solving approach to health.

In her spare time, Josée enjoys backcountry camping and hiking in the Rocky Mountains with her family. She is always eager to embark on a new adventure, and she looks forward to the opportunity to work with you and your family.
